With COVID news, the Afghan debacle and the US Southern (non-existent) border news stories, there is one story you might be missing. The Canary Islands, west of Morocco in the Atlantic Ocean has the La Palma volcano that is erupting. Apparently, it may continue to do so for some time:

The great fear is a larger eruption that could cause a landslide to the west of the island, creating a Tsunami that could endanger the western hemisphere. Let’s pray the smaller eruptions quell the sub-surface forces and the island turmoil settles down. It is something to keep an eye on.
