NQRNews Commentary for 30 Aug: “Remember Afghanistan? I do.” – Uncle Mike

Dear NQRNews Readers,

It’s been a year. A year ago, the United States abandoned Afghanistan and left it in the hands of the Taliban. Remember the Taliban. I do. Bloodthirsty lot of 6th Century throw backs that treat women as slaves and recognize no other religion but theirs.

This article tells of the status of those the Biden Administration left behind:

No way out: Afghan allies hiding from Taliban hit dead ends in quest to reach US | The Hill

I 100% blame the Biden administration and the US Department of Defense people in charge (STILL IN CHARGE!) for the failure to properly plan an exit strategy that suited US interests and instead executed a half-assed runaway that would have made “Brave, brave Sir Robin” (for you Monty Python fans) look like Jason Bourne.

Thursday night, the USA will be subjected to a speech by Joe Biden where he will profess what a great job he’s doing. How he has done everything he said he would do in his basement campaign. Then he will throw in a couple insults directed at Trump, MAGA and the Republicans that voted for him. Forgetting to remind everyone that voted for Trump that the only viable option to Trump, was… Slow Joe Biden. Supposedly 81 million people that ‘voted’ for Joe, pretty much were just voting against Trump. It by no means meant they wanted this guy to be president. Just not the Don.

For the rest of my life, I will NEVER forgive Joe Biden for the embarrassment he caused the United States of America. His handlers to this day tell him he did a great job. Nobody disagrees with getting out of Afghanistan. NOBODY. Even Obama should have declared victory and unassed. But not in the manner the departure was executed.

Biden will do his best to have you forget this. Remember it in November.
