I’ll start with another Biden administration Faux Pas. (Def: an embarrassing or tactless act or remark in a social situation). That would be Blinkin’ Blinken’s remarks about the French.

Ambassador Araud tweeted, “We are deeply moved.” At Blinken’s comment that the French are still a “vital partner”. The tweet for tat comes after the French deal for $40BILLION of submarines was sunk (pun intended) by an agreement Australia, the UK and US made for US submarines instead of French.
The French have always been a disciple of freedom. They were with the US from day 1 in the birth of this country. If you grew up in the Northeastern US in the 20th Century, you were offered French as your foreign language of choice. Not so much anymore. It’s Spanish or you are a ‘deplorable’. The Biden administration played economic hardball and the French lost this at bat. Is it too harsh for me to say, they didn’t get their 10% to the “Big Guy”!? Perhaps the French should have negotiated their submarine sale through Hunter Biden.
I am a tremendous fan of the Aussie’s and they deserve to have the best submarines possible (affordable?) to prepare their defence (oz spelling) against an extremely aggressive Chinese military. Let’s hope this sale doesn’t jeopardize US and French common defense operations in global hotspots such as Southeast Asia and Africa.

This is all on Biden’s “Don’t come” policy that VP Harris is responsible for.
