Two major stories to follow this weekend. Russia/Ukraine conflict and the coming arrests of the Canadian truckers.

I am certain that Putin and Xi have discussed this. I can’t see Putin crossing the border en masse until the Chinese Olympics are over. Xi would not appreciate having the global news cycle pulled from the Olympics. After that, Xi can focus on observing how the west deals with Putins’ aggression. Depending on how the invasion goes and is covered, Xi will probably make a decision on Taiwan.
The second critical event this weekend is Trudeau’s handling of the Canadian trucker protests. It is apparent that the Chinadian government is ready to crack down on the ‘terrorists’ truckers that have created an ‘insurrection’ worse than January 6th. Trudeau has had enough. His anger is not just for Canadian truckers that are calling out his fascism, but for anyone that supports the truckers. Including people that provide financial support.
Future:

There are two ways to financially effect Trudeau’s overreach. One; don’t pay taxes, and two; a bank run. A bank run is when people that have their money in a bank (let’s say, a bank that prevents their customers from supporting the truckers with their own money), and decide it is time to withdraw any and all funds that are in a bank that are in a bank that would cease funds of their patrons.
It will be an interesting weekend gang. COVID is fading, but not gone. Elimination of COVID mandates are what the truckers are asking for. Stay safe.
