NQRNews for 29 Jan: “Spudpocalypse” Over? French Fries for Everyone!

Global Supply Chain Disruptions Continue

Dear www.notquiterightnews.com readers,

You know times are getting hard when you can’t get French fries! The “potato wart fungus” that caused the “Spudpocalypse” may have come under control and Canada may very soon continue to export potato’s from Prince Edward Island:

Add potatoes to the list of items in the supply chain that are being disrupted in the supply chain. Potatoes are joining the list of computer chips, groceries, and money in your bank account. Here are other items with issues including, God forbid, liquor:

On a more serious note, the supply chain disruption is being exacerbated by COVID. Particularly hard hit is China (again) where the ports that launch ships are having shortages of workers:

We’re also seeing a shortage of tempers on everything from shoppers to plane passengers. You can find a video everyday of someone losing their mind over masks, vaccine’s, parking spots, and at sporting events. Some of it attributable to COVID, but quite many more due to the lack of civility of the population.

Good leadership could solve much of this. Get goods to the people, insure security in the streets and provide a positive direction of growth. Unfortunately, the world has none of this. Putin has NATO cracking internally, fools in the USA are actually discussing a ‘civil war’, and both China and Russia are rattling sabers over territory.

There was a time when leadership in the USA could handle international issues. But once you’ve had your military defeated by Afghanistan, the ability to lead is gone. Deservedly so.

The USA needs new leadership immediately. Not sure the world can wait until 2024. Establish your local voting sites for change now, for success in November. Maybe we can all eat French fries again.
