How’s your Christmas shopping going? Any issues getting the presents you want for your family? Probably no problem for congress. As the article here highlights, congress is ‘special’, they know it and they aren’t afraid to show it:

I’m pretty sure she is unwelcome in Florida and she has made her roots in San Francisco. It is only fitting she answer to her voters in California. Her retirement cannot possibly come soon enough.
Congress gets special treatment. Be it ‘insider trading equivalency’ for stocks to presents from foreign governments. The more the folks in congress can get away with not letting the voters know, the better it is for them. I doubt they are having any trouble getting presents for their families.
